Sentosa Family Celebration
300-Drone Story
— Singapore
On 8 July 2026, a husband surprised his wife with a private 300-drone family celebration at Palawan, Sentosa. Each formation carried part of their story, moving from love and marriage into pregnancy, parenthood, their dogs Yakult and Yoghurt, and a joyful tribute to the mother at the centre of the celebration.
Mission Objective
The Brief
The brief was deeply personal: transform a husband's surprise into a visual family story his wife could experience alongside their guests. The performance needed to honour the family's privacy while making every formation clear, recognisable and emotionally meaningful from the Palawan viewing area.
Their Story in the Sky
MIRS Drone Show translated the couple's journey into a 300-drone aerial narrative. The sequence moved from where their story began and a promise for forever into marriage, pregnancy, a baby's first heartbeat, their dogs Yakult and Yoghurt, and the moment their growing family became complete.

Creative Performance Design
Designing a Personal Family Narrative
A private family celebration calls for more than spectacle. Every image must be immediately readable from the ground while still feeling specific to the family. The design direction used clear silhouettes, emotional transitions and recognisable personal details to turn the Palawan sky into a shared storybook.
From Anticipation to Family
The sequence followed all 13 approved chapters: Where Our Story Began, A Promise for Forever and The Day We Became Us, followed by A Blessing on the Way, Our First Hello, Love Grows Within, A Little Heart, A Big Miracle, Held by Love, Welcome, Little Star and Tiny Hands, Forever Bonds. Yakult and Yoghurt, The Joyful Companion, Our Family is Complete and Cheers to Love, Life, and Her completed the celebration.
- Story-led sequence A visual journey from the couple's beginning to their growing family
- Personal formations Couple, pregnancy, baby, Yakult and Yoghurt, family and celebration imagery
- Camera-ready sightlines Clear silhouettes composed for guests recording from Palawan
- Emotional finale The complete family portrait and a toast to love, life and her closed the story
On-Site Execution
Pre-Show Planning
A 300-drone performance beside an active Sentosa celebration requires disciplined preparation before guests look to the sky. The operational plan covered the Palawan flight area, beach-side fleet setup, systems checks, timing and crew coordination while preserving the surprise for the family.
Show-Night Delivery
On 8 July 2026, the team moved through setup, testing and final readiness checks before the personalised sequence began. The formations were paced so the couple and their guests could recognise each chapter, record the reveal and share the closing family moment together.
