The Brief

The brief called for a consistent National Day aerial experience delivered across five Singapore locations. A 300-drone fleet formed national symbols and the official NDP 2024 theme, 'Together As One', giving each site a shared visual moment within the wider celebration.

Delivering a show across multiple locations required coordinated planning, airspace management, and operational discipline. Formations needed immediate meaning for a national audience — the Merlion, the star, national milestones — while the 'Together As One' text formation provided a clear final moment.

Delivering 300 drones across five locations required formations that remained clear and recognisable from each approved viewing environment. Every formation carried symbolic weight for a national audience — national emblems, flag elements, and the official NDP theme — without visual ambiguity at ground level.

Narrative Arc & Camera Strategy

The 300-drone sequence moved from national symbols to the NDP 2024 theme, 'Together As One'. The Merlion, five-star starburst, and 59th anniversary mark gave the celebration a recognisable national visual language across all five locations.

• Together As One text The 'Together As One' text formation closed the show with the official NDP 2024 theme rendered in lights above the city — the culminating image of the sequence and the most widely shared visual from the night.
