Antara Mall
Drone Show
— Genting Highlands
Mission Objective
The Brief
Antara Mall commissioned MIRS Drone Show to announce its grand launch with a headline aerial moment over Genting Highlands: a brand reveal designed to be unmissable from the ground and endlessly shareable online.
More Than Marketing
The goal was to turn a mall opening into a destination event: 1,000 drones choreographed into the Antara logo and a sequence of celebratory formations that would draw crowds, media, and social coverage to the highlands.
Mission Assets

Creative Performance Design
Designing for a City Skyline
Performing above a highland resort city means designing for distance and elevation: every formation was engineered as a bold, high-contrast shape that stays crisp against the Genting cityscape and night sky.
Narrative Arc & Camera Strategy
The show opened with a drone-swarm build-up, peaked with the Antara logo rendered as a diamond formation, and moved through a rotating earth globe, a robot character, and concentric hearts before a celebratory finale.
- Brand-first formations Antara logo diamond, globe and character built from 1,000 points of light
- Highland backdrop Formations staged against the Genting Highlands cityscape for contrast
- Launch-moment pacing Build-up to a hero logo reveal, then a celebratory finale
- Camera-ready Choreographed for social clips and PR capture from the ground
On-Site Execution
Pre-Show Planning
MIRS's ground team ran full site surveys of the Genting Highlands launch zone in advance: mapping flight paths, setting safety boundaries, and scheduling rehearsals around the venue's launch-day programme.
Day-of Operations
On launch night the on-site crew managed end-to-end setup, systems testing, and a full rehearsal across the 1,000-drone fleet, delivering a clean, reliable performance for the live crowd and media.
